Featured are the remains of Chateau-Gaillard, the fortress built by Richard I of England, feudal Duke of Normandy, better known as Richard the Lionheart. Chateau-Gaillard is located in Les Andelys on the Seine. Rare!

By Rail and Sea from Paris to Brighton or London, 1904 Arsene Naulez
This Vintage French travel poster advertises trips by rail and sea from Paris to Brighton or London. Brighton is in the East Sussex on the south coast of Great Britain, it emerged as a health resort featuring sea bathing during the 18th century and became a destination for day-trippers after the arrival of the railway in 1841. Naulez has chosen to illustrate a young flower-seller on the north bank of the Thames in London with the House of Parliament and Big Ben in the background.

This vintage French travel poster was anonymously designed in 1900 and printed by Dreule G and Co. It features an elegant Parisian woman accompanied by a child dressed in a sailor suit holding a shrimp net. The poster promotes the town of Ault-Onival and the chalk cliffs of Ault and the beach of Onival in northern France on the English Channel. Listed are local attractions such as a casino, theater and horses.

Maurice Neumont
Maurice–Louis Henri Neumont, 1868-1930, was a lithographer,
painter and Cornet member from 1904 to 1930.
Neumont began his artistic endeavors at a very young age.
Neumont was the most prolific contributor to the Cornet Society menu collection, illustrating 56 menus
between 1904 and 1929, approximately 15% of the collection.
Neumont was no stranger to accolades; his special achievement award list
includes a gold medal for engraving at the School of Fine Arts (Ecole des Beaux-Arts), Liege and Brussels.
However, he is remembered most as a member of the “PatrioticSchool,”
a group of artists whose propaganda posters helped mobilize the French nation in its fight against Germany
in World War I.
